    Grant proposals blow.

    Ok, so I really plan on writing that paper but need to vent about it for a minute.

    I mean, seriously this assignment is completely outrageous. Our professor asked us to write a grant proposal. And, it has to be something related to neuro-psych or perceptions (the class is about sensation and perceptions, how we perceive our world). So, I chose hypnosis as a form of pain therapy.... (MISTAKE!) which of course a lot of intense literate written about it.

    No one in the class is doing well with the assignment because she has barely talked about it for the whole semester, basically I feel like the prof expects you to either sink or float and she doesn't offer any extra help. Well, more than one person asked if it can be due after the weekend (its due in class tomorrow, Thursday) and she said "no, I have to get them graded before my jury duty assignment". WTF. JURY DUTY?? The thing is, we are all seniors who need this class to graduate (its required) and if we don't pass then we don't graduate. But of course, we don't know if we do or don't until after commencement. This is so frustrating. The part thats the absolute worst is that we all did horrible on our midterms and our grade is mainly comprised of just our midterm, final and this grant proposal.

    I AM DOOMED!!

    I know I'll make it, but the anticipation is killing me because in the mean time I have three other classes and my senior capstone. I have to keep telling myself I only have a few more days and I can make it!!

    Anyone else stressed about finals or school? Please share and make me feel not so alone!

  • Absolutely hilarious...

    So, its quite funny.

    I was sitting here about to start working on a paper when I really felt like blogging. Yes, I have myspace but blogging on there isn't the same as a place like Xanga. That's when I remembered, hey! I used to have one of those accounts, I wonder if its still active. And, not having a clue what my username and pass would have been I guessed what I might have made it back years ago... and low and behold it worked!!

    I haven't even logged in to here in, ohhh about 3 years! My last blog was on August 26, 2005. So funny.
    Anyway, I am back and looking for some new friends to chat with... I am now a few years wiser and have a little more to say, so if you're interested in a new friend come chat with me!!

    :)

    NOW, off to update that pesky little blog with my current info!

    My bad...last time I forgot to write about that adorable cutey sitting next to me in the picture! My lil cousin Brandon...he is so adorable!! Miss him mucho, he lives in Colorado.

    I am leaving in about 5 minutes for OREGON! woo hoo Road Trip!!! :) My friend Kindle and I are headed off for our 8 hour drive! Yippee!!

    LOL...I am quite pathetic. No life! Oh well! Shit happens!

    Alrighty...so nothing too special has been going on. Haven't been blogging because my roommate (ex roomie now) had this huge party and my laptop and digital camera were stolen! Awesome huh? Yah, not so much. So I moved out and have been pretty busy since.

    School is coming up...I'm anxious (only because after this year I'll be done with my associates) but I think I am taking on too many classes in order to finish. Oh well!!

  • So, here I am... Stefanie, back in action after a three year hiatus on here!! A lot has changed, I am now 21 and a mere 18 days away from graduating with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Modern World History... and cannot wait. I have worked so hard and it will all finally pay off!! I have a GREAT job with one of the best retailers in the world, REI... I work at their call center and love everything about it. I also have a great boyfriend, the same one I had when I was blogging here a few years ago. We have been together for almost 6 years with breakups here and there of course. But, we love each other and have finally made up our minds. We will get married someday, just not sure when.
